I know how to use the plugin to sell e-books via PayPal. But is there any way to use authorize.net as a payment gateway? Also, how to set up a donation link?

Yes, you can use authorize.net as a payment gateway for your shopping cart checkout. But you need to have the eStore authorize.net integration plugin installed on your site. You can download the plugin from here (look in the authorize.net section):
