Hello,
I’m launching an online video course next month, which will be on a WordPress blog, so I’m looking for a solution to drip content. eMember seems ideal for that, especially because I already own WPestore, etc.
I just have one question :
I want to launch with Optimize Press on mydomain.com, and then put the course on a course.mydomain.com (for obvious technical and practical reasons, I want it to be separate, to still have a “waiting list” page on my launch website, to use another theme than Optimize Press for my course, etc.)
So I activated the WordPress multisite built-in option, because it’s not possible to make eMember communicate with the database of another WP install. Everything is working correctly.
If I understand well, every site of the network should be in the same database.
So is it possible to sell my course on mydomain.com and then to deliver my course on course.mydomain.com ?
I know it’s the same database used, but I’m not sure if WP eMember can handle that, because installing a plugin on course.mydomain.com will probably be “like” installing a plugin on a toldly different website.
Thank you in advance for your answers !
Yes, WP eMember works with WP MS install. The key is to understand how WP MS works though. Each site will have an independent membership database. This post has more explanation:

Ok, thank you for your answer, so it’s not possible, unless I code something by myself.
Correct; Manual labor is required.
