Does the myCRED plugin require emember WordPress user integration?

I am considering using myCRED to reward my free and paid subscribers for taking specific actions. If I use the myCRED plugin, will I need to enable the eMember WordPress User Integration settings? (Currently, I am not using them.)

Also, our membership delivers digital PDF downloads. I’m trying to figure out how (or if) I can have my users spend their myCRED points to open up access to exclusive downloads. I currently use wp estore to manage my downloadable products, and wp emember to control access to the pages that have the wp estore download button short codes. So I’m not sure how to tie myCRED points into this system? Any ideas?

Yes, it needs the WP User integration option to be enabled so it can work with the MyCred plugin.

The following standard MyCred integration we have won’t work for what you described:

You will need a customized version. I don’t know exactly how it can be implemented but I can do more investigation if you use the following option:
