Does the Inventory Control work with Subscription buttons?

Hola,

I’m setting up a membership site and have set the inventory to 100 because I want to close registration at that point.

I am using a subscription button and have successfully registered a client, but the inventory counter is still showing 100.

I read on another thread that the counter changes when someone adds the item to the cart – but since I’m not using this option is that why the counter isn’t working?

Inventory functions only work for items that are added to the cart. They do not work for subscriptions; which bypass the cart.
