Tagged: aweber, eMember emails
Hello, I’ve recently successfully integrated with AWeber but it appears that the emails generated by emember (e.g., Registration Complete – when someone is added) are not being sent. Does the AWeber integration cause the emember emails to be ignored? I’m referring specifically to all the emails configured in the “WP eMember>Settings>Email Settings” page.
I wanted to test the email by adding myself to emember. Prior to integrating with AWeber, I would have been sent a “Registration Complete” email from emember. I did not received this email. I checked the debug file to see if an email was sent and saw the following:
[03/14/2021 6:43 PM] – SUCCESS :===> Performing autoresponder signup if needed (member was added via admin dashboard) <===
[03/14/2021 6:43 PM] – SUCCESS :Performing membership level specific autoresponder signup if specified.
[03/14/2021 6:43 PM] – SUCCESS :End of membership level specific autoresponder signup.
[03/14/2021 6:43 PM] – SUCCESS :Performing global autoresponder signup if specified.
[03/14/2021 6:43 PM] – SUCCESS :Attempting to signup the user via AWeber API
[03/14/2021 6:43 PM] – SUCCESS :AWeber API library inclusion succeeded.
I did not see any record of an email being sent to me, but I was successfully added to AWeber.
Thanks,
Terri
FYI – I think this might be a user error on my part. I’m working with our webmaster now to try to resolve this. However, I would like to confirm that integrating with an autoresponder plugin (like AWeber) doesn’t interfere with the emails configured in eMember.
Thanks
Autoresponder integration does not override the built-in emails.
Perfect. Thank you.
