Does auto_popup prevent autoplay from working?

If set a lightbox to auto_popup, does it really prevent autoplay from working, or is there a way to get autoplay working in an auto_popup lightbox (Youtube video)?

Hi, I understand, but you would have to modify your hosts file – I doubt you want to do this.
