Hello,
I am not completely sure how the Affiliate Plugin works. I have bought it but not started using it. A lot of my customers have friends who are also in need of my products. Therefore I would like my customers to be able to become affiliates (make money by getting customers for my company). I also imagine that majority of these customers do not have their own website. Is it possible for them to post an affiliate link on a facebook post or in an email?
Thank you!

February 28, 2014 at 4:49 am #61204wzpModeratorThe only requirements for an affilitate, is that they have an email address and a PayPal account.
A website is only required if an affiliate wants to propagate their links, that contain their affiliate ID, using banner ads. They could just as easily do the same thing by embedding links with their affiliate ID in message posts, or emails, facebook, twitter etc.

Now here is another question: can the links be in an easier format for affiliates to copy and paste, in stead of html? I imagine that some of my potential affiliates will not be very digitally advanced in how to put html in the email body. What would be the easiest way to go for these affiliates?

And ran it through the Google URL shortener, I will get:

Is there anyway to get around that for the people who don’t really know where that function would be on their email pages?
March 4, 2014 at 1:09 am #61208adminKeymasterYou just enter the URL in the email just like you would enter normal text. The email client automatically make an URL clickable (when the recipient gets it). So you don’t have to do anything special on your end.

Can I somehow make it easier for my users/affiliates by giving them a link/url that is note a code?
March 10, 2014 at 12:47 am #61210Swedish2goParticipantOh, typically! Now it does work! But when I post a link on Facebook or on Hotmail in the email, it doesn’t work.
March 10, 2014 at 4:38 am #61211Swedish2goParticipantThanks I got it now.
March 10, 2014 at 5:46 pm #61212wzpModeratorYou need to paste the [http://swedish2go.com/?ap_id=asabou] without the “[ ]” square brackets part.
