MemberIf I enable a category lockdown, do I need to apply the ’emember protection options’ for individual posts in that category, or the category lockdown cascades to all posts in that category?

KeymasterYes, the category lockdown cascades to all posts in that category. So if you apply a protection to a category then no need to do any individual post protection that belongs to that category.

MemberI just noticed something! the lock down of a category makes it completely inaccessible to all, the reason being that, their is no way to Select the membership level that can access this content on a category from the admin area or am i missing something here?
I also noticed that the links in the ‘Please Login to view this Content. (Not a member? Join Today!)’ status statement on my category archives page are not hyperlinked? you may check out this page

I can’t figure out what I may have missed.
Any clues?
Regards.

KeymasterHi, The heyperlinks definitely work on the category pages (I have just tested it myself). Now, your theme is most likely stripping any hyperlink in the category view (Some theme do this).
Can you please switch to the default WordPress theme (just for a quick test) and tell me if the hyperlinks in category view work on that theme?
