Tagged: affiliates in mailchimp
Hi, on our site we have eMember and WP Users synced. While new WP Users (most likely new members added in this manner will be via a purchase made in Woocommerce) get picked up by eMember, it doesn’t appear that they get added added to the mail chimp list. Is this normal?
Just to restate. If users are synced from WP users to eMember users they are not added to the mailchimp list by eMember. Or perhaps it just takes a while for them to show up and I’m not patient enough.
Yeah the autoresponder stuff will get triggered when a user pays for membership via WooCommerce (even when the payment is for a membership upgrade).
So as long as you are using the following integration, it will do the autoresponder stuff:

You can also enable debug in eMember to see what it did after the payment and the membership registration.
Okay, I may have to do some more testing. It makes sense that users would get added to mailchimp when a subscription purchase is made. They don’t get added when simply registering a new user via the woocommerce user registration box on my-account. I may just need a mailchimp plugin for WC.
