I am using fancy display style 10 on my shop pages. I would like to be able to sometimes not show the product / category description field so that I fit more products in to the screen space. I have the extra short codes addon and have reviewed the documentation but I can’t find any way of doing this.
The most comprehensive I can find is this shortcode [wp_eStore_fancy_display id=1 type=1 style=1 show_price=1 restriction=1], which does give a lot of control, but not displaying the description or not. Is there any text I can add to to this shortcode to do what I want?
If not is this a feature that can be easily added? It would be a great way of increasing the choice of available ways of display products / categories without creating yet more styles.
Regards
Angus

Price Display Modifier (show_price)
0: Do not show the price of the product
1: Show the price of the productWhat I am after is a Description Display Modifier.
Thanks

Not exactly, as you can see from this section of my staging site http://staging.knowledgemappers.com/map-store/time-maps/#Time-Calendars-Generic. The ‘standard Calendar’ on the left is style 10, the ‘Academic Calendar’ on the right is style 11.
Style 10 is responsive ie. it fills up the whole column width and expands to fit the contents ie. the longer the description, the more space it takes up (you can see this where I have listed the category contents below the individual).
Style 11 is an absolute height and width so the longer the content (eg. title) then the less space there is for anything else. I hope you can see from my page that style 11 is unusable.

I think you can see that “fancy#11 is not the same as #10 sans description”.

This would make it much easier to incorporate the button in places where the background isn’t plain white. I am using Elementor to build my pages, which has a shortcode widget that I use to add the WP eStore product / category listings. With the widget you can at least assign some properties such as a background colour and border. Being able to turn off the border in the WP eStore product / category listing would give me more options within Elementor.
Thanks
