display a comment in the shopping cart

I have the eStore set up to add products but the shipping and tax are added in Paypal. All seems to be working fine. Is there a way I can add a comment to the eStore shopping cart that says “shipping and tax will be added when you check out” so customers at least have some indication why shipping and tax is not showing in the shopping cart on my website?

Just add whatever comment you want to add for your customer on the page where you have the shopping cart then embed the shortcode for the shopping cart.

For example you can see what I have done on my Checkout page here:

All the details for the checkout is explained on the WordPress page itself then I placed the shortcode that displays the cart. This way you don’t have to touch the cart to edit your comments whenever.

Is it possible to add the notes to the right of the shopping cart button, since there’s a lot of white space?

As soon as you want to add anything inside the shopping cart it will require you to change the code. If you are not good in PHP then we won’t recommend you to change the code.
