I would like to build a gallery with pictures from the same event but with differing size ratios requiring different prices. I have looked through the forum and seen others asking about similar and the developers stating a variable pricing list for a single gallery is difficult fix which is fair enough. Obviously there is the functionality of being able to set individual prices on certain photos however that can be a pain in the butt if a lot of pictures need to be done that way.

I came at a possible solution to the issue from a slightly different direction and have not been able to find out if it can be done or not already. My solution is to create 2 galleries (or more)to set the pricing then display 2 galleries on the same page as it were. So gallery 1 is square pictures costing x and gallery 2 is rectangle pictures costing y. Then both are put onto a single page. I have tried this using the short code from an automatically generated page so it read [WPS_photo_gallery id=”10″] [WPS_photo_gallery id=”11″]and while the first gallery displays fine the second one appears in a vertical stack rather than rows. (I use template 10).

So is there a way of building a page with more than one gallery on it so that the second (and any further galleries) thumbnails display in rows the same as a single gallery?

You can create a page with multiple galleries. The problem is that template 9 or 10 requires one gallery per page as it uses JS code to trigger the masonry.

Does it work if you pick on of the other templates (just for a test)?

I have run the other templates – most will display multi galleries but the lightbox does not display properly – the top is cut off – if I set them to not use photo detail page. Template 7 did exactly what 9 and 10 did. However if I had one gallery set to 7 and one to 10 they would display OK although this is still not ideal.
