Disk Images will not mount after downloading

Hi,

I have a product that has 7 Disk images of videos and they range from 225MB – 450MB in size. The downloads work when they are accessed directly but will not open when downloaded via the encrypted links. The disk images are corrupted.

My Addon settings are:

Automatic URL Conversion Preference – Do Not Convert

Download Method – Method 4

I am on a grid service with Media Temple.

What is the available RAM for your hosting account? Do the file actually downloads fully or does it stop in the middle? Can you please try download method 6 and see if that makes a difference? Do you have an Amazon s3 account?

I am not sure what the available RAM is on my Hosting account, I am on a Grid service. I will see if I can get that info. The files do appear to download all the way, then the OS automatically attempts to mount the images then fails.

I changed the DL Method to 6 and the Images that are in the 250 MB range now download fine. The ones in the 400’s still Fail.

I do have an Amazon S3 account. The downloads are on Media Temple. Do you suggest I use Amazon S3?

Since you have Amazon S3 account I would recommend giving that option a try. Amazon S3 and eStore integration is explained here:
