I am trying to create a discount for shipping. Example free shipping for orders over $100.
But I also want to have a shipping variation that allows customers to choose overnight shipping for an additional $20. Doesn’t matter if they have free shipping they still have to pay the additional $20 for overnight.
Problem is that with the discount in place the variation doesn’t seem to be working even if they don’t hit the $100 threshold.
Any thoughts?
If you have a free shipping discount active then it will take precedence and as soon as the amount goes over the threshold it will apply free shipping. You can’t give a free shipping and then have an option to charge for some other *type* of shipping in eStore unfortunately.
Im not sure if this will help you or not but you may consider adding Overnight Shipping as a seperate product all its own. Then if they want to get overnight they just add it to the cart and the system will “see” it as a product and so will ignore it when calculating the free shipping discount
