ModeratorHi, do you mean that you are using the HTML button code from PayPal?

MemberOh, I am so sorry, I was not aware that there was a response to my post. I am looking to have a per product discount. For example, I plan on selling three products and would like to offer a discount on only one of the three products.

ModeratorIt sounds like you are saying that you are just using the “Buy Now” shortcodes on each product, which immediately take you to PayPal, and that you want to offer a discount on just “one product.”
Discounts & coupons are computed on the cart total before that total is submitted to PayPal. If you want to discount just “one product” that is tied to a “Buy Now” shortcode, and you are not using the cart; simply change the product price, and add text to the product description saying that the product has been discounted.

MemberThat sounds like a solution, however, I only want to offer the discount for certain time only. For example for 24-48 hours, your solution means, that I have to manually monitor this and go back in and change the text and price of the product. How would it work if I use the cart feature, will I be able to use the discount/coupon feature on a per product basis, if I use the cart?

ModeratorIf you use the cart, you can create conditional discount coupons that are product and time limited.

MemberThat is great. I tired it and it seems, I do not know how to apply a discount to just one product. I am not seeing how to add the coupon and create a condition to offer the discount to a certain product. I looked at the videos and it only shows how to create the coupon but it does not go into detail how to create conditions.
