I’m using Estore to set up a digital delivery Birthday ECard site. It looks like my only choice is to have the customer receive the encrypted link and then forward it to the birthday recipient. Is there any way that the customer could input the recipient’s email address for automatic delivery from my site or from Paypal?
thanks
Is the user paying for the eCard?
Are you requiring membership registration?
Yes the user is paying for the card.
No, it’s not a membership site. I only sell one birthday video personalized by name.
thanks!
Okay, here is an idea, that does not require anything special…
1. Buyer purchases eCard product and gets emailed a link that redirects to an APR protected page.
2. On that page, is a simple squeeze form button. Buyer fills in the form and clicks the button.
3. The *real* download link to the eCard is sent to the email address provided to the squeeze form.
The beauty of this, is that the first link to the APR protected page will expire. So will the resulting eCard link that is send from the squeeze form button, to the recipient.
I’m not sure I’ve explained myself correctly. I’m wondering if there is a way for the purchaser of the video card to input the birthday recipient’s email address(if different from their own) DURING thee purchase process, so that delivery to the birthday recipient
proceeds automatically, at the conclusion of the transaction.
It **can** be done, but not with the way eStore is currently designed. You are welcome to request a custom work order quote, and someone will get back to you:
Wow. That is good news! Thanks for your quick and helpful responses. Really appreciate it.
