Digital product and membership access

I want to sell a digital product and as a bonus give them a membership at the same time, how can I do this, using WP Emember and WP Estore I looked around at the forums and could not find a good fit, there was a post saying read the docs, but I could not find any information on this subjects in the docs, I have read through the docs but have not seen an answer to this question, so hopefully someone here has done this before and can outline a solution thanks in advance, for any help or suggestions Basically it would be very cool to be able to link up memberships and digital products together. but I cannot see any provision in the settings for this,

That’s exactly what I want to accomplish too. Basically, by purchasing one of my digital download products, you are automatically made a member of a certain level, which gives you access to certain parts of the site, such as tech support. In other words, the 1st level of membership (above level 0, which is FREE, non member) is “paying customer”. After that, these paying customers could even upgrade their membership to GOLD or something like that, buy purchasing the upgrade, but I want to make the transition from FREE to “paying customer” membership status EASY by making it automatic for them (i.e., they wouldn’t need to register to be a member since they just paid for and downloaded a product). Hope this makes sense!?!

Basically you enter the membership ID, I have not tested this out yet, but I think there could be a better method of integrating this feature in the future.

Just look under additional product details, and find the ref field at the bottom,
