Hello –
I’m hoping that maybe I am just missing the obvious, but here’s my problem. I am using the credit token plugin (I also have the eMember, Lightbox, eStore, etc. – I think I’ve bought them all trying to figure this out.)
My user will purchase credits and then use those credits to purchase videos. I need to give that user the ability to get to their purchased content again, WITHOUT charging them again.
The shortcode for the credit token works perfect, EXCEPT it continues to charge the user his credits each time he taps it. Here is the shortcode I am using: [wp_eStore_download_using_credits_button id=1]
The product that they have used their credits to purchase, is not/does not get added to their purchase history. Is there a way I can change the code so this WILL happen? (If so, I think this is prob the best option.)
Can you offer any suggestions?
Also…2 more things:
The videos are not mine, per se…they’re hosted on another server, from another company. I am just using an iframe to display them after purchase.
I am using CCBill as my pymt processor to buy the tokens, not Paypal as my site is an adult site. I had found the post about PDT processing but that had me using Paypal, which I cannot do.
**So, really my “product” is the page/link to that video. Not the actual video…does that make sense?**
You don’t need PDT for what you are trying to do. PDT is an optional thing for PayPal checkout.
Are you going to protect your videos using the membership plugin or using eStore’s pay per view feature?
