My client wants to have 3 membership levels, and wants to collect different types of information for each membership level, thus needing 3 separate forms for users to use to sign up for the various levels. I see that within the eMember plugin you can specify various fields for the signup form, and that you can specify custom fields as well, but I don’t see any way to achieve different fields for different roles. Ideally the customer wants 3 separate forms on 3 separate pages, which will have many of the same fields but will also include a few different fields depending on the membership level. Is there any way to achieve this using the eMember plugin? I have already read:
Create a Registration Form for a Particular Membership Level
How One Single Registration Form is Used in eMember for All Types of Membership
but none of these address the need for different custom fields for different membership levels and most of these seem to address giving a ‘backdoor’ to becoming a member without paying, and that is not what my client is looking for.
In eMember we use the single registration form approach (Details in the following link which you already read):
We do have workarounds for creating separate registration forms for different membership levels. However, it won’t work if you also need different custom fields for each of those different levels. For that you will need the following form builder addon:
