I run a web site for a photographer’s association. We have two different “products” — admission fees to meetings, and membership fees. I’m using eStore for the admission fees, with the coupon function allowing members (with the password) to receive the member discount. The Notice of Product Sale (for the meeting) goes to our Reservations Chair. The PayPal notice comes to me, as I’m the owner of the PayPal account.

I’d like to use eStore also for the membership fees, but I would need the Notice of Product Sale to go to the Membership Chair. I’d also like the PayPal notices to go to their respective departments. Is there a way to set up separate email addresses for the different “products”, and would you have any suggestions about the PayPal notices?

eStore doesn’t have option to send different email to different address based on the product. If you need to send the same email to two different people then you can set up a forwarder on your server that forwards to two different person when an email arrives to a specific address.

The PayPal receipt can go to different emails though. The way to achieve this is to use Alias emails in PayPal. So you can add additional emails in your PayPal account like the following:

    sales@your-domain.com

Now, you can use this alias in the “PayPal Email Field” and the receipt will go to that address.

Thank you. Sounds like it’ll work.
