I’d like to separate my membership registration forms to different pages, so I can send those from the sales page to the paid registeration “gold” level, while the free “silver” level see a page with both options. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

    Thanks,

    Steve

WP eMember uses one registration form which is capable of detecting which membership level a user is permitted to signup for. As an example, if a user pays for the “Gold” level then after the payment it will only let this user signup for the gold membership level. If a user directly goes to the registration page without paying then it will only let this user signup for a free membership.

Make sure you have read the “Registration Flow” documentation:

with that said, you can place a registration form for a particular membership level if you really want to. The following documentation will help (check the “Backdoor Entrance” section)

Well, that’s of no use to anyone, really. Why can’t there be separate forms for different types of registrations? It’s conceivable that there are different types of membership–the plugin already allows for that–so why is it so weird that people using the plugin would want to collect different types of information from different types of users?

WP eMember doesn’t have this option. Obviously one solution will not suit everyone’s need which is why we specify what eMember does on the documentation site.
