Tagged: customize, email, email text, Product Name, squeeze form, squeeze form email
Hi Guys,
I have two different products for which I am using two different squeeze forms. But I’m only able to send ONE generic email to subscribers of both products. This is very limiting as in the first product I have a lot of instructions on how to USE the product (like a link to a video tutorial) and a special discount that I offer them. The other product I just want a plain download link. But it seems I can’t do that which is very disappointing.
Am I missing something or is there another way to do this?
It would be much better to move the squeeze form email settings OUT of the main settings/admin area in INTO the product admin so that they could be different for each product!
Squeeze forms were not intended to have the same flexibility as “real products.” If you need to include product specific instructions with freebie downloads; consider offering them as $0 (no cost) products. That way, you can use product specific instructions with them:
Use “Option 1” of this thread:

Thanks, but then they have to “check out.” I want this to be an easy lead generating process, which checking out from a cart is not.
The product specific instruction will work with the standard squeeze form submission email also.
Thank you “admin”, that was just the solution I needed! The help text under the squeeze form email does not mention that you can use that tag. Is there a tag we can use in the email subject that will let us populate the product name? something like {productName}?
I saw in your email shortcodes there is a Product name tag, but it didn’t work in the squeeze form emails
