Hello,
Can I have different commission amounts or percentages on different products?
If so, how do I do this?
I am using WP eStore v4.9.1 and WP Affiliate v4.4.4.
Thank you.

July 26, 2011 at 12:53 am #30460mozakdesignMemberIs there any way to have different commissions on different products with the simple paypal integration?
Thanks
July 26, 2011 at 3:23 am #30461IvyMemberNo this can only be done with the eStore. Since we developed both plugins we can integrate them more closely so there are some options that are only available with the eStore and Affiliate integration.
July 29, 2011 at 12:38 am #30462lkincaMemberA question on this. It sounds like you are saying the product specific commission will override the users commission level. But in the affiliate stats section, the commission level percentage is a little confusing. Here is my scenario (I am using eStore):
2 products with 8% commission
2 products with 10% commission
2 products with 12% commission.
Standard commission level is set at 10% and this shows when an affiliate logs into the affiliate center.
Questions:
1. Is the ‘Commission Level’ setting per user going to result in incorrect stats being displayed for a user who has sold 8% and 12% products as well?
2. How do you recommend handling that setting? Should it be set at the highest level or the lowest level?
July 29, 2011 at 8:13 am #30463amin007ParticipantThe affiliate area simply shows the default commission rate that is set in the profile for the affiliate in question (it has no way of listing the commission rate for each different products). On your affiliate index page you can list the product specific commissions that you offer for particular products so that all the affiliates are aware of the different rates.
July 29, 2011 at 6:12 pm #30464lkincaMemberOk, that’s a good suggestion and I have actually done that. So basically I can also tell them ‘Your default commission rate will display as 10% in your affiliate profile, but this does not affect your commission structure, which is actually determined on a per product basis. Please ignore the default commission level listed in your profile.’
November 27, 2013 at 1:22 am #30465KarenMemberHello. Using WooCommerce with WP Affiliate. I understand that I cannot do per-product commission rates, however we are weighing various work-arounds, and would love some help.
Our situation: several WooCommerce products we do not want commission at all, several products we do, at the same %. We understand ALL purchases will be hitting the commission bank and we need to manually back out the ones we don’t. My noodling questions are:
– anyone know of a quick/dirty way to mark products in the Woostore in a way that would flow to the commission report? I see empty fields on the commission report for Item ID and Custom Value – how can I find out which field in Woo would populate either or both of those? It would help to have SOMETHING in the commission report that pointed out the item or the item class, to help this manual process along.
– and, is there way to manually zero out an affiliate commission balance? Once I pay you only $70 of the $150 balance you have (based on eligibility), how can I zero you out as if I payed the full amount?
Feel free to tell me I’m nuts for pursuing this. But I know of simply no other affiliate plugin or way to get what my client wants done, done. Any help you can provide, please do! Thank you!

November 28, 2013 at 2:05 am #30466adminKeymasterHi Karen, I am actually working on adding a feature in the affiliate plugin so you can do product specific commission for WooCommerce (we have received enough request for this). I should be able to give you an update within a few days.
November 28, 2013 at 5:35 pm #30467KarenMemberThis makes me positively giddy..
Happy Thanksgiving!
November 29, 2013 at 3:52 am #30468CarlosMemberI’m looking forward to this very useful update !
December 13, 2013 at 12:45 am #30469KarenMemberHi – Is there any update on the (hopefully upcoming) WooCommerce/WP Affiliate plugin?
In the meantime, does anyone have any workaround for me (see my post 3 up from here, where I ask for help on workarounds for product-specific commission and tinkering with the backend of WP Affiliate to zero out balances that have accrued but are on ineligible products that we’d like to manually back out.)
Thanks for any help! Happy to beta test a plugin!

April 8, 2014 at 2:47 pm #30472futuremakersMemberHi there,
Sorry to resurrect an old thread, but where can I find the add-on that allows me to set specific commissions for WooCommerce?
Thanks so much!
Sx.
