Tagged: apostrophe, html entity, PayPal
I have the word “I’m” as part of a product name (book title). When the cart takes me to PayPal, the PayPal shopping cart shows it as “I’m”. Is this an eStore issue or PayPal. Should I be using the html entity version of apostrophe (’)? Thanks.
eStore handles the apostrophe fine as it uses the “stripslash” function on the product name. I have a feeling that PayPal is not recognising the character. Try the normal apostrophe and see what it does.
I’ve tried it using both methods and it has the same result either way.
Oops. I take it back. I think when I created the product initially I copied it and it kept the html entity code. It works now. Thanks.
