Difference between Checkbox, Radio, and Select fields in Form Builder

I need to set up some True/False field conditions ie is the member a part of the group Executive. I have tried to find out what the differences are bewtween a Checkbox, Radio, or Select to no avail throughout the Forum and Documentation.

• Checkbox: Is a binary field. It is either “checked” or “not checked.”

   

• Radio: Is a 1 of N field. Only 1 of the N choices can be selected. It is called a “Radio” selection, because of its similarity to the old style radio station selection buttons on a car radio.

   

• Select: Is also a 1 of N field. It differs from a “Radio” selection, in that the choices are presented as a drop down menu.

   

You should be able to add the above 3 types of custom fields to a form for testing and then see how it works from the front-end of your site.
