I’ve read posts here and understand that we can delete delete purchases, but the sales counts aren’t updated for the products. I also understand the various mechanisms in the admin UI. Can I confirm under the hood that a procedure to have accurate actual sales counts displayed would be:
1. In wp-admin, for all test purchases, under the “Manage Customers Menu”, Edit our test purchase. Delete that customer.
2. Get a total of purchases by ID from the wp_eStore_sales_tbl in mysql
3. Update “sales total” column in the wp_eStore_tbl
Also, just to confirm my understanding, the “Manage Customers Menu” is really a listing of sales and not really customers per se. I gather this because the same person can appear multiple times in this menu.

Yes, you are correct. Another way to do testing is to create a new eStore product called something like “Test Product” and then purchase that item. This way you won’t have to worry about resetting anything.
