We are hosting an event in a few months which will include a self guided tour. We are trying to have people register now, but we want to distribute the audio tour (mp3) and pdf map two weeks before the event. Right now, we are still editing the content so we do not have files we want to upload. Is there any way to do this? What would be possible is to allow registrants to download a pdf now explaining what will happen and where to link to in the future, and/or we would collect email addresses and send out a blast at a later time.
Thanks

- PayPal seller policy forbids you from collecting payments for items with a delivery date of more than 20 days:

Be aware that PayPal sellers are not allowed to sell goods with delivery dates delayed more than 20 days from the date of payment.
If the product/event is free, then it does not violate PayPal seller policy regarding the 20 day rule. You can use an APR protected “event page” as the product; and then update the contents as appropriate; with Download Now buttons to whatever files or guides you want them to have.

Instead of just having people walk around the route as we have in previous years we are offering essentially a free gift with registration of a historical audio tour or printed guide. They will also get other free items like a water bottle and goodie bag.
It’s the audio and guide that I want to send out later, but I want to send it out beforehand instead of trying to get everyone downloaded and organized that morning.
Once we are finished editing the audio and map we will send it during the payment process but realistically that’s at least a month away.
After the event we will be selling the item (we think) to anyone who wants to use it and then the download would work immediately.

We don’t have anything that will do the above. I could potentially look into doing a customized solution for you. Use the following if you are interested:
