Customized section protection message to contain url

I want my custom message to contain the join-us link. Basically I want to have 2 different messages, depending on the content and what membership is required to view it. I know I can change the default message, but that’s not what I want to do. How can get the link on the text?

Which documentation are you following? Please post a link to the documentation in question so I have a good idea of what exactly you are referring to when you say “customized message”.

I’m sorry I wasn’t clear about this. I’m talking about the custom message to use in the post for a membership level. This is an example:

[emember_protected for=2 custom_msg=”For Gold Members Only”]

Can I make that contain a url to the Join_us page?

Thank you. The default section protection message already links to the “Join us” page so you probably don’t need to make a link of your own.

However, You can use HTML in the “custom_msg” parameter. Here is an example usage:

[emember_protected for=2 custom_msg="For Gold Members Only <a  href='link-to-join-us-page'>Join Here</a>"]
