I noticed today that a custometr who purchased a product on my site via WP eStore, and was added the the ‘Customers’ group in WP eMember correctly.
However, he was subscribed to the incorrect aWeber List.
In the Product settings for the product purchased in WP eStore an aWeber List was specified for the purchaser to be signed up to. This did not occur. Instead he was signed up for another list.
I found that in the WP eMember Settings => Autoresponder Settings => AWeber Settings the ‘Enable AWeber Signup’ was unticked and the list the purchaser was signed up to was the value in the ‘AWeber List Name’ field. Here is a screenshot at http://www.f4solutions.net/wp-content/uploads/emember-aweber-setting.png
Having the ‘Enable AWeber Signup’ unticked should have meant the client would not have been subscribed to the aWeber list specified in ‘AWeber List Name’. Am I right? Or would there be some other reason for the client being subscribed to the incorrect list?
Hi,
Have you correctly set your AWeber configuration up? I’m referring to the email parser – especially the last bullet point in step 1:

Yes – the aWeber email parser was set up correctly and has been working fine when people were subscribing
Hi,
I would suggest that you enable debug on both eMember and eStore and let use know the output.
Also is “customers@aweber.com” a valid listname?
You must have a value in the “Autoresponder List/Campaign Name” field of that particular membership. The settings option that you are showing is for the global one (one list for the whole membership site). The membership specific level list signup will still happen if you specified a list name in the “Autoresponder List/Campaign Name” field of that membership level.
My mistake… If the checkbox is unchecked then no signup should happen (global or membership level specific). Do a debug run as peter suggested and that will reveal what the plugin is doing.
