Hi there
I’ve received an email from a customer saying the following:
Hello
I can not get the Chapter 7 Steering Systems to download. Chapter 18 downloaded OK.
I have an error message saying “The product ID value is not numeric. WP eStore’s products ID must be a numeric value. Please contact site admin”
They have purchased two electronic items – I have received a confirmation email to say that the purchase has been completed, and this also contains the links.
Here’s a link to the website: [www.lvvta.org.nz/shop]
I’m using:
WP eStore
PDF Stamper plugin
I’m not sure where to start, so I’m hopeful that somebody will be able to help me!
Thank you
Justin
November 16, 2016 at 10:54 pm #74594adminKeymasterThis usually happens if the stamper plugin is failing to stamp the PDF file on your site.
Please make sure the stamper plugin is working correctly on your site by doing a manual stamping of that same file from the “Manual Stamping” menu of the plugin. If you get an error with the stamping then the following checklist will help:
After you confirm that the stamping is working fine, you should do a test transaction with the debug option enabled in eStore (so we can see if there is anything else not working on your site):

November 17, 2016 at 1:27 am #74595barracudaMemberThanks, it looks like the link to the download file was incorrect. I’ve corrected that, tested on PDF stamper manually and also checked that it works via Paypal – it’s fine.
So, my only remaining quandary is to get this customer their copy. I can’t manually stamp, as this won’t add the email to the password protect. I’d rather not generate a discount code as this means they’ll have to go through the purchase and paypal process again.
Is there any way to do this without going through Paypal?
Thanks for your help!
November 17, 2016 at 2:09 am #74596barracudaMemberHi again
I figured out a work-around – I did the manual stamping, and then added a password (and other security features) using Adobe.
So all sorted!
Thank you!
