I’ve tried to fix an error that keeps occurring. This customer keeps getting applied to the wrong affiliate, even when she clears her cache and uses a different email. We’ve tried manually setting the affiliate with a link that was sent to us. But, it didn’t work. She’s still being credited to the wrong affiliate. The site is aahlight.com.
January 25, 2018 at 11:27 pm #77170adminKeymasterLets take a look at the debug log info for this. Please enable the debug logging option in both the plugins (WP eStore and the affiliate plugin). Then do a an affiliate referred test transaction.
Are you using the lock customer to affiliate addon by any chance?
February 5, 2018 at 8:15 pm #77171amyboyackMemberWe turned on logging and made a purchase which was credited to the same affiliate.

February 8, 2018 at 12:00 am #77174adminKeymasterLooks like it is finding the referral from the IP address of that user being registered in the Clicks database.
[02/01/2018 6:59 PM] – SUCCESS :WooCommerce Affiliate integration – couldn’t get referrer ID from cookie. Checking IP address: 24.117.4.198
[02/01/2018 6:59 PM] – SUCCESS :IP address referral check result… Referrer: equestricare
So basically, this user’s IP address is: 24.117.4.198. If you go to the clicks menu of the plugin, you will see that there is an entry for that IP address against referrer ID “equestricare”
That IP address record needs to be deleted from the clicks table if it is no longer value.
Go to the “Individual Affiliate Clicks Data” from the clickthroughs menu of the plugin. Enter that affiliate’s ID and hit the display button. Delete the records.
February 13, 2018 at 10:03 pm #77175amyboyackMemberCan you tell me where specifically in the database I’m supposed to delete the entry from? Which table? I deleted it from one table, and it still went to the affiliate again
February 13, 2018 at 10:45 pm #77176adminKeymasterYou shouldn’t have to delete directly from the DB. You can use our plugin’s interface to delete the entries. In my previous post, I explained which interface will allow you to delete the entries.
If you want to directly delete the DB table then look in the “affiliates_clickthroughs_tbl” table.
