With teleclasses and ecourses, the email the customer wants to receive information to is not always the same as their paypal email. Is it possible to have the email in the shoppingcart different from the paypal email?

I have a client who had a challenge with some people not getting their teleclass information because they don’t usually use the email that is connected to their Paypal account.

I’m trying to remember when I used 1shoppingcart, and I think customers could enter in their chosen email to receive emails and still pay by paypal without a conflict.

I personally have my paypal email as one I use a lot, but this is something my client has bumped into.

    Thanks.

The easiest solution is to ask customers to alias/link their “other” e-mail addresses to their primary PayPal address. This is simply a good business practice, because it ensures the primary address is not being used fraudulently. Once the linkage has been made, they can use the aliased e-mail address to make their payment.

I am just trying to understand something… what difference does it make if you receive the email on your email account A or email account B? If you are using different email accounts for different stuff then isn’t this behavior expected? All the customer need is the info and it will get delivered to their email address associated with PayPal (usually this is a verified email address so I don’t see the problem).
