The payment gateways that you have integrated with WP-EStore are very firearm or gun industry UN-friendly (to say the least).
I own a brick and mortar gun store and conduct business on the net as well, this makes it a little difficult to make sales from my site.
I want it to be integrated with WP-Estore and WP-Affiliate so that my affiliates can get paid automatically (I really do not need more things to keep up with. lol).
Would it be possible for you to add another, more firearm friendly, payment gateway if I paid for the integration?
Would it be possible to do this myself (I have experience in PHP and html programming)?
If so, where do I find any information on doing this without having to read through your existing code for the existing gateways?
Thank you very much for any help you can give. I am loosing sales because of lack of payment gateway integration and I am motivated to get this done. I would move on to another cart but I really like the simplicity of yours and the ability of tracking affiliate sales.
March 3, 2012 at 11:21 pm #42664adminKeymasterI don’t know which payment gateways support the firearms industry but did you check these extra payment gateways?

March 7, 2012 at 6:56 pm #42665gmlgaaMemberI did look into the payment gateway bundle and everyone of those restricts the sale of firearms or weapons. Actually every gateway that WP-Estore currently has restricts the sale of firearms.
However, I actually finally found a Merchant Service that does allow firearm sales.
gunmerchantaccount.com uses some type of emulator to use authorize.nets gateway. I am going to set it up in demo mode to be sure it works but if it does it will be great and will not require any extra programming (hopefully).
Thank you for your help. I’ll try to remember to post back what the results are.

March 7, 2012 at 7:13 pm #42666gmlgaaMemberI sent a request for the bundle plugin so that I can have the AIM integration as well. I don’t really want people to have to leave my site to complete their purchase.
Hopefully it works like they (the merchant service provider) said it would.

I got the answer to the question below here — https://support.tipsandtricks-hq.com/forums/topic/replace-the-current-transaction-processing-url#post-11856 . Sorry for this post, please delete.
‘Is it possible to change the gateway URL for the Authorize.net gateway plugin?
From my merchant provider-
To determine if your shopping cart is compatible with our Authorizenet Emulator find out if you can change the Gateway URL it accesses. If you can change this to [https://trans.secure-fastcharge.com/cgi-bin/authorize.cgi] your cart will work with our gateway. NOTE: We haven’t found any stand alone shopping carts that won’t allow this.
Thanks,
Gary’

June 20, 2016 at 3:49 am #42669adminKeymasterWe have pretty much all the popular payment gateways covered between eStore and the gateway bundle addon. So maybe take a look at the following addon to see if that will work for you:
