I am trying to use the wp csv to table plugin with the eStore. Plugin was downloaded today as was the estore pruchased today. Also latest WordPress release.
I exported the CSV file from the existing table, using the plugin, and tried to upload it after adding new products. But I get this error:
* Starting Row value exceeds the number of entries being updated to the database from the .csv file.
(click to dismiss)
I am selecting 2nd row as start row, and I am connected to the wp store tbl table. Not sure how a csv I just downloaded can throw an error. This error happens whether or not i check Update Data Rows. I also removed the existing 2 entries I had so as not to mess with the the ID auto increment, but that did not help either.
I have tried UTF-8, Western (Windows) Latin 1, MS-DOS CSV, and Mac CSV. Many times it says something about not the right format even though all of them are CSV.
Number of .csv file Columns: There was an error extracting data from the.csv file. Please ensure the file is a proper .csv format.
Were you using these instructions?
Using a database program I was able to upload the file. The plugin doesn’t work on Pair.com
Please be aware that, unless you subscribe to Pair’s virtual private or dedicated server plans; you are forced to use a shared MySQL database, that has “many restrictions.”
