    Hi,

I have a LOT of members to import. I was wondering if you’ve created a version of your very handy Products.csv for eStore that makes it easy to create a ‘members.csv’ to import into eMember? It would be very helpful to DB Dummies like me. I’m not sure I could get all the columns rightly named and in order on my own.

Not a bad idea I can create one for eMember too.

In most cased people have their members as wordpress users and eMember comes with a feature that allows you to import all your wordpress users so no one never asked for the CSV to DB option.

Is your member data already in WordPress user database?

No. It’s for a client who just switched to WP. She’s been selling memberships via PayPal and then entering them into a spreadsheet. Very low tech. I just set her up with eStore and now I’m setting up eMember and the affiliate plugin for her as well.

    Hi Amin,

Thanks very much for that! Looks much easier now. I’m sure I’ll have more questions about how to ensure existing members are entered in with the right ‘expiry’/’renewal’ dates, but I’ll cross those bridges if/when I get to them.

    :)
