We use a couple of plugins that enable us to include tabs at our wordpress site, however when we install the new version of WP eMember, all the tabs get messed up. We figure out because one of the css class name may have clashed with those two other plugins css name which has “tabs” in there.
So our question is can we get you guys to change the naming? or if we have to change the css naming ourselves, where and what should we change?
Thank you for your attention.

1) Is this in the admin side or the front end?
2) Have you identified the CSS class names that are conflicting with the other plugin? Can you list them please?
August 27, 2010 at 2:47 pm #23718tickquestMember1, Do not understand the question, are you referring to WP eMember or wordpress in general?
2, The following is a link to our test site.
http://research.neoticker.com/?page_id=182
This is before WP eMember installation, but after installing WP eMemeber the tabs at widget on left hand side and in the page body will be messed up. After I check the class id the both have the word “tab” or “tabs”, so I assume it will have something to do with the word “tabs”.
Here is a couple of the class id I have taken out from the page source.
<div id=”section-tabbed-3-tab-1″>
This one belongs to tabbed widget on the left hand side.
<div id=”tabs-0-1″>
This one belongs to tabbed content within page body.
Thank you.

We don’t seem to have any of the following CSS classes in eMember so I am not sure if the class names are conflicting or not:
– section-tabbed-3-tab-1
– tabs-0-1
I will take a look at your site to see what is going on. I will send you an email.
August 30, 2010 at 6:53 pm #23720tickquestMemberIt happens when those plugins are involve, as far as I can guess there could be a class name in new eMember.
They are the plugins:
Section Widgets
Wordpress post tab
If you install them along with WP eMember you should get the same result as I do.
Does the new eMember plugin has CSS class name with tabs in them?
August 31, 2010 at 9:15 am #23721IvyMemberHi, We will need to jump on your site and have a look at what is happening. I will send you a site access request via email. Let me know if you do not receive this email.
September 1, 2010 at 7:09 pm #23722tickquestMemberIf possible I would prefer not to give out site access, since problem is easily reproducible.
All you have to do is install the plugin
Section Widget
http://wordpress.org/extend/plugins/section-widget/
or
WordPress Post Tab
http://wordpress.org/extend/plugins/wordpress-post-tabs/
Create some tabs in a post or at one of the widget area, then activate eMember you will be able to see what effective eMember has on tabs created by these plugins.
I have attached a couple of screenshots to demonstrate what happen before and after eMember is activated at our site.
September 2, 2010 at 8:24 am #23723IvyMemberHi Tick, I have sent this to the developer to take a look at. Once he is done I will let you know.
September 2, 2010 at 7:12 pm #23724tickquestMemberThank you for looking at the problem.
