Creating Pages for Product Details

I’m a bit confused about how to do something that I hope is quite simple.

In the admin panel for adding products there is a field for a Product Page URL. Does this mean that you have to create product pages manually and add them in here?

It seems to me quite simple that product pages should be created automatically and when you click “details” you go to that page.

When you click on the Michael Jackson pumpkin stencil you are taken to the kind of page I’m referring to. This guy didn’t manually create a page for EVERY product on his site, did he? Can’t these pages be created automatically somehow?

This seems easy and I’ve been trying to figure it out but I’m having a hard time.

As far as I am aware for what you want to do you’ll need to create your own individual product pages which contain more info about the product you may be displaying and then insert this url into the “Product Page URL” in the eStore product configuration.

I have the name need for enhanced single-product pages. Does the browse-products-by-category do this? From it’s info page, it’s not clear to me.

When you say “Name need”, you mean to show the name of the product? You have free access to that addon so I would recommend you install it and check it out.
