WP eStore Notification Email – Create email tag for IP address

Is it possible to create an email tag for a customer IP address? The tag would be {customer_ip}

I’d like to show a customer IP address in my sale notification email. Could it be done with a little custom PHP?

If you are thinking of this as being some kind of security awareness enhancement; almost nobody even knows the IP address of their home router, and the IP address is always dynamic for mobile devices. So there is practically no value-added benefit to placing the IP address in the emails.

However, for the purposes of fraud investigation and forensics; eStore does record the IP addresses:
