Tagged: redemption limit
I want to make sure I understand their purpose.
The Redemption Limit, limits the “how many coupons are “printed” virtually. If it says 100, each time individual customers redeem a coupon one less is now available and the count reflects the number that have been redeemed? If the limit says 100 and the count says 5 than there are only 95 coupons left. Once they are gone, the program for that coupon has run it’s course? Correct?
John
Hi John,
Yes your logic sounds right regarding redemption limit and count.
How can I set the redemption limit PER PERSON? I wish for all people to be allowed to use it once and only once.
And how do I distinguish between a coupon that applies to each product versus the total cart amount? In other words, how do I set a code that discounts a single item in a cart, but not all?
eStore doesn’t currently have the functionality to somehow track “redemption limit PER PERSON”.
Regarding a coupon which discounts a particular item, you can do that by creating a coupon and using the optional conditions by setting “Item ID” “is equal to” and then insert <product ID>
I’m also interested in the PER PERSON redemption limit? is it hard to implement? i mean in the coupon conditions couldn’t the Buyer ID be specified?
Thanks,
