We have a WooCommerce store and are using your software for affiliates.
We want to use coupon codes for affiliates for now, as opposed to using affiliate links. We believe we set everything up correctly–the affiliates have approved accounts and under WP affiliate > Woo Coupons we connected the Affiliate ID with the coupon code.
After some testing we have noticed that coupon usage is not being tracked in the affiliate area where they can see how many views they have and how many sales they’ve made. Their coupons have been used multiple times but their page still shows 0 sales.
We also did start out using affiliate links, and are unsure if those are also not tracking sales.
Thanks in advance for your help.
July 25, 2014 at 11:12 pm #64597adminKeymasterPlease go to the settings menu of the affiliate plugin and enable the debug option. Then do a test transaction using a coupon (that is connected to an affiliate). Let me know when you have done that so I can check a few things in the log file.
August 3, 2014 at 12:05 am #64598MichaelMemberWe now have enabled debug.
It also appears that no data is being tracked on our backend nor on the affiliates end besides the amount of clicks, which makes me think the software is set up wrong or just broken.
Please let us know what you can do to help as we believe having affiliate software will be key to our business.
We are also happy to give you admin access if needed.
Thanks so much!

August 9, 2014 at 3:10 pm #64600CarlosMemberMaybe is because you didn’t mark the order “as complete”. Until you you dont do that, the WOoCoupon cannot track the purchase. I guess…
November 3, 2014 at 10:49 pm #64601MichaelMemberThanks for the help. It appears to be working now.
We have a new question about the affiliate sign up page. Is it possible to add additional questions to the registration form?
Also, is there a way to mask the link on the sign up page? Right now it says: [http://websitename.com/wp-content/plugins/wp-affiliate-platform/affiliates/register.php]
We were hoping to mask the software name so not everyone knows exactly what we’re using.
Thanks in advance,
Michael

Do you know if it’s possible to add additional questions into the affiliate signup form?
Thanks so much,

March 19, 2018 at 9:59 pm #64604Derk ScheltemaMemberHi,
I have an issue with coupons linking to affiliate for one affiliate only. Can you check this.. this is the response on the log file:
The affiliate was created with a space in the ID name, but that gave an error, and after that the affiliate was created without, but seems to now not be picked up as the system is looking for the affiliate with the space. THis seems to be causing the error as per the log file.
If this could be fixed would be very appreciative.
Could you mail me for me to provide login details / the log file?
Derk
March 20, 2018 at 5:29 am #64605adminKeymasterDelete the old coupon code for that old affiliate ID. Delete the coupon code to affiliate ID association in the addon.
Now, create a NEW affiliate record that doesn’t use space. Create a new coupon code. Go into the addon’s interface and add this new affiliate ID to the new coupon. Test a transaction using this new coupon code. Do you see any error?
