Hi,I am having a problem with the coupon code in WP e Store plugin. When a customer goes to use the coupon code it says “Maximum coupon redemption limit reached!”
The redemption limit is set to infinite and the date is Dec 31, 2012. So I don’t understand why it is saying it has reached the limit. Appreciate any feedback.
January 3, 2012 at 8:50 pm #40290PeterMemberHi,
Can you please try setting the coupon limit to a large number – say 9999 or greater and try again.

February 5, 2016 at 8:27 am #40292fofaMemberHi! Sorry for the probably daft question, but I have a coupon code set up for $5 off any subtotal over $55. It works fine, but is there some way to announce that code so people actually know about the offer? Am I missing some info about this?
I’m using the latest WP eStore version and wp theme, everything fine there, just don’t want to go creating banners and pasting on every page or make another text widget over in the sidebar to take up more space if I don’t have to.
Thanks!
February 5, 2016 at 1:16 pm #40293wzpModeratorA coupon “code” is usually something that is not known to the general population, unless it is specifically announced. It is up to you to let people know what the code is, in a marketing or advertising setting, that is appropriate to your audience.
If you don’t want to advertise the discount code, how about using the option to automatically apply a coupon code, if the subtotal exceeds a certain amount?

February 6, 2016 at 8:00 am #40295fofaMemberHey thank you! I’m not that great at code, but is there a pretty loose option available in the text widget to fancy it up for a coupon code announcement? It seems my colors and font are dictated by my widget settings overall and solely “text” as it is written. Maybe it’s time to learn something new. Any way to get html into a text widget using a generic code from wp estore and then add my own discount price and coupon code name?
You guys rock at answering questions!
February 6, 2016 at 12:56 pm #40296wzpModeratorThere are already many free “fancy” or “enhanced” text widgets in the WordPress plugin directory. Perhaps, one of these may be to your liking?

This particular one, supports CSS and HTML.
