Coupon Code and Cart Anchor goes to top of page

I added the shopping card short code to the container where my cart is located and checked “Allow Shopping Cart Anchor”. When people add a product to cart, the page stays in place. However, when people enter a coupon code the page goes to the top of the page.

Is it possible to keep the page at the shopping cart anchor #wp_cart_anchor when a coupon code is entered?

Deactivate the “ajax” option that you enabled. The ajax option can’t do the cart anchoring.

I think you should also look at creating a specific checkout page for the cart. It should work better for your setup. The following post explains how to do it:
