I was receiving an error:
An error occurred while trying to stamp the file!
Fatal error:
Cannot use object of type SetaPDF_Error
I uploaded the minimum requirements module and got two ticks and PHP 5.2, I have checked permissions, I have tested various PDF formats from Indesign and from Open office, I have gone through the videos and text files several times, and finally i reinstalled manually, and now I get this error:
An error occurred while trying to stamp the file!
Fatal error:
The encoded [path to the pdf stamper file] is corrupt. in Unknown on line 0
Any ideas?
Have you tried reinstalling the plugin files?
Yes, I reinstalled the plugin. (as stated above)
I have just tried deleting and reinstalling the module again, and I am back to the original error:
An error occurred while trying to stamp the file!
Fatal error: [site path removed by admin]
I have sent you an email to get site access so I can check it out.

I am having the same problem. Tried reinstalling the plugin and get the same error as the above user…
Error! SetaPDF_Error Object ( [message] => Cannot copy file /home/**** to /home/***.pdf => 14 )
I can give you site access if you wouldn’t mind poking around to see what the problem is.
THANKS!

Please go through this checklist first and let me know if you still face this issue after going through them (pay good attention to checklist #8 and #9):
hey
i have the same problems… error 1 – cannot copy file
i already gone through the checklist but cant finde an answer… can you help me, too?
thanks!
Turned out the user wasn’t using a valid PDF file which is why the stamper was failing. Going through the minimum requirement helped:
