Conflict with Featured Content gallery plugin

When the Featured Content Gallery plugin is activated, the simply shopping cart will not hold the products. You can add just one item to the cart, if you try to add another it simply replaces the one already in there. If you navigate away from the page the cart will empty.

Is there a way to fix this problem?

THANK YOU! I found that it was in fact to do with a php.ini file I had in the directory to get a backup plugin to work! Found another backup plugin which doesn’t need it, deleted it and it appears to be working fine now
