I am encountering a conflict between LightBox Ultimate and NextGen. I am unable to publish create a NextGen Gallery when The Lightbox Ultimate plugin is active. I have not found anything realating to this issue so I am mostly wondering if there is a know lightbox issue when two plugins using lightbox are both in use.

I am using the most recent versions of all plugins and WP. As of now these are the only two active plugins I am working with. My theme is an elegant theme if that matters.

Hi, we will need to take a closer look at your site to see where the errors are coming from. I have sent an email to your registered email address for site access. Let me know if you don’t receive it.

Having same problem, but in my installation conflict is specific to shortcode for FLV video, which requires activation of “Enable Fancybox” and “Enable Flowplayer” in the setting options. The shortcode implementation for YouTube videos is **not** affected, and the shortcode for FLV video is **not** affected when placed on a WP page with no NextGen Gallery on it. Frustrating because I purchased the “Ultimate” version specifically for its support of the FLV format, and all my FLV videos are posted adjacent to their related NextGen galleries. Note that FLV is “Flash Video” and SWF is “Shockwave Flash Video” (you’re calling SWF “Flash” in your marketing and documentation), which makes your documentation quite confusing.

    Thanks for responding. URL: [http://www.dgilbert53.net/?page_id=72]

See bottom of page for sample FLV link. Video links above this link use the YouTube shortcode, which work fine.

FLV video shortcode syntax: [wp_lightbox_flowplayer_anchor_text_video link=”http://www.dgilbert53.net/wp-content/uploads/2014/03/jr_mem_klein_motorboat.flv” text=”Alex Klein’s Outboard Motor Boat”]
