Tagged: wrong commission
I have a product I’m selling for $17.95 – my affiliate commissions are set at 40%. Some of my affiliates contributed to the item I”m selling so I’ve gone in and manually changed their commission to 50%. The problem is, their payout still shows up as $7.18 – 40% commission when it should be $8.98.
When I check them, they are correctly set at 50% but the commission is always 40%. How can I fix this?
What plugin are you using to sell the product? If you are using eStore then do you have a specific commission set in the eStore product? It would be good for you to check the affiliate’s profile to make sure you applied the 50% commission to the one you are referring to.
UpdateTurns out that you had a product specific commission applied to this eStore product so the plugin was calculating based on that amount.
