Tagged: Commission Amount, Commission problem
Hi,
On the Sales Data page, I have had sales but all of the Commission Amounts show 0, shown here:
The Commission amount is set at 15% (without the % sign) in the settings here:
In the affiliate log in area, it shows the amount of sales they have generated, but not how much commission they should have earned:
Hope it’s something minor that I am overlooking,
Thanks in advance!
Dave
See how the affiliate does not have a commission level set in his profile? That’s the issue:
You most likely created this affiliate account from the admin dashboard and didn’t fill in the “Commission Level” field for this affiliate. Please edit his/her profile and fill that in and then give it another run.
ah, okay… thanks for you help! So each affiliate needs to have a commission amount set for them specifically.
Can I ask then why there is a commission settings in the main settings?
The feeling I got was that this was a global commission setting.
cheers for the help, will try this out and let you know.
When any one signs up to be an affiliate using the affiliate signup page, WP Affiliate Platform automatically sets the commission level of that affiliate to whatever you’ve specified in the global settings. But you manually created an affiliate from the admin so it didn’t set the commission amount. When you create affiliate account from the admin it is kind of like manual override so it lets you specify everything.
