    Good Afternoon,

I’m setting up WP eMember on our testing site to make sure I have any issues ironed out prior to going live. I have protected a post using the options at the bottom of the post, and that is working fine. However, the comments are still showing on the post. I have tried all three protection methods and I have the “protect comments separately” flag turned off.

    Here is the page: [http://www.aactesting.com/2010/09/04/agm-battery-chargers/]

I have a nasty feeling that the problem may lie with the Thesis 2 theme framework we use, but before I start tearing into the theme I wanted to check and see if there is a simpler answer. Also, I would be grateful for any direction you can give me on a fix.

Hi, eMember works with the Thesis theme framework so you should be good from that angle.

Which version of eMember are you using currently? What version of WordPress are you using?

Can you please share a link to a post that is protected and you have comments in that post?

Hi, I’m using the latest version of eMember, downloaded two days ago 8.6.2. I’m using the latest version of WP 3.5.1. Note that I’m using Thesis 2.0.3.1. Thesis 2 is a completely different framework than the old 1.85, that was released in December 2012. All new architecture, so you may not have other customers using it.

The link to the page that I have protected is, as I stated in my first comment, as follows:

We do have a few customers who use Thesis 2 so we know that eMember work with Thesis 2 in general. I have sent you an email to get access to the site so I can check all the settings to see what could be going wrong.

I have filled out the access form. Great news that you have people up with Thesis 2. It’s a great framework in many ways, but not totally conventional in its architecture.

    Thanks for the help.

If the problem is that I have done something stupid, I will be happy to pay for your time.

Update: The comment template replacing filtering priority wasn’t working as expected on this site for some reason. We have added another check in the eMember plugin to counter this.
