Is there a way to collect data from a customer (using text fields) prior to submitting their payment to Paypal? My product requires I have some info from the customer at time of purchase, but I seem to be missing how I can collect that info. “Collect Customer Imput” allows me to add one field, but what if I need to add three or four?
Thanks,
Marcus
Can you please tell me what information you are looking for? There are many email tags that can be used to display information in the email that you are sent via the eStore. Please remember there is a limit on the information you can send to PayPal (This has to do with PayPal and not the eStore). This information is passed to PayPal via the browser.
You can find a list of the email tags here:

What kind of information are you looking to collect?
I need to collect Website URLS, keywords, and a paragraph of text in some cases.
Thanks,
Marcus
I need this exact feature as well.
PayPal won’t allow you to pass thru that much custom data. The following post will explain a few options that might work for you:

I decided to use the option with a contact form with a note before checkout telling them that they will complete the form after the transaction.
Thanks,
Marcus
what is the security level that how much our information secure from hacker when we paid online through PayPal. Is these information shared to all administration Staff and they keep a check and balance system.
You shouldn’t have to worry about security when paying via PayPal (they take this security stuff very seriously)
