Hi!
I want to make sure I understand which email address the Mad Mimi addon adds to the specified Mad Mimi list. I believe that the user’s PayPal email address is put on the list rather than their eMember profile email address. Is that right? If so, is there any way to change it to the eMember profile address instead?
Thanks so much for your help.
July 6, 2018 at 12:56 pm #78096wzpModeratorThe MadMiMi addon integrates with eStore, not eMember, so it’s the payment email address that gets passed to MadMimi. Also remember; if this is for a new membership, no profile (email address) exists yet.
July 7, 2018 at 12:31 am #78097adminKeymasterWe can create a madmimi integration for WP eMember that will perform the madmimi list signup on the registration form. That will take the email a member is using in the registration form.

I would LOVE to have a madmimi integration for eMember.
July 10, 2018 at 1:03 am #78099sahmcoloradoSpectatorAs a workaround, I’m looking for a convenient way to see when a member uses a PayPal email which is different from their eMember email address. I can add a field to collect instructions through PayPal where a customer can enter their user account email, but unless it’s a required field, I think most people will miss it.
I can go to Manage Customers and find the eMember user id and click on that to see if that email is the same as the customer email, but that is way too cumbersome to just check every single customer just in case the email is different.
Since the eMember id is known for each transaction, I’m thinking that if I could retrieve the eMember id (and therefore profile email) and the customer email from a transaction, I could send an email to myself with something like:
eMember: emember@address.com
eStore: customer@address.com
Then I could easily see if they are different and then go and update that contact’s email address in Mad Mimi. Or I could only send the email if they ARE different, which would be even better.
I do something similar if the user changes their email address, which I shared here: https://support.tipsandtricks-hq.com/forums/topic/emember-is-it-possible-to-have-email-to-admin-after-customer-update-profile/page/2
Is there any way that I can retrieve the customer email address and eMember id/email when the eMember membership level is changed/added?
Thanks!

January 3, 2019 at 1:57 am #78101adminKeymasterYou mean when the membership level is applied to them after a payment?
